The Academy has enlisted and named Fellows of the Academy of Magical Cats those who are renowned in the arts and cultural activities at the present time, and who consider the cat as their life companion, witness to and often the inspiration of their work. These people will promote the ideals and aims of the Academy.

The Academy wants to remember in particular the renowed friends that have constituted with us the Academy of Magical Cats and that, with their fame, have been guarantor of the seriousness and of the cultural value of our academical action. They have reached that "originary world" where sun, moon, comets and stars shine uncontaminated and where the cats of our past times, free from material ties, run, jump, nod and play in eternal beatitude: Balthus, Dario Bellezza, Laura Betti, Jorge Louis Borges, William Burroughs, Camilla Cederna, Ulrich Klever, Luce D'Eramo, Leonor Fini, Enrichetta Leospo, Rossella Mancini, Franco Mannino, Louis Nucera, Francesco Pennisi, Adriana Pincherle, Mirella Rodriguez Lo Savio, Giorgio Saviane, Lorenzo Vespiniani, Marco Visconti.
