THE
INTERNATIONAL AWARD OF MAGICAL CATS
This is the most prestigious prize that the Academy solemnly awards
to those Fellows of the Academy who, by means of their work, have
proclaimed, in a particularly decisive and intense way, Cat Culture.
The Prize consists of a bronze sculpture, which
Igina
Colabucci Balla, Fellow of the Academy, has modelled
exclusively for the Academy of Magical Cats.
THE
BASTET PRIZE
The Prize, named in honour of the Goddess Bastet, is given in
official recognition to those who have contributed to the diffusion
of Cat Culture by means of initiatives and activities aimed at
promoting a more accurate and profound understanding of the cat
and its place in history.
WITNESSES
TO THE GODDESS BASTET
Famous people, throughout the ages and from all corners of the
earth, who love cats, receive from the Academy of Magical Cats
a diploma which recognises this quality in them, inasmuch as they
testify to their love of cats, thus helping to promote this love
of our feline friends.
THE
PAUL LEAUTAUD PRIZE
The prize is named in honour of the great animalist, anti-vivisectionist
and pacifist writer Paul Léautaud, who can be surely considered
the Angel of the Deserted Animals. The prize will be assigned
to all who are involved against the deserting, the vivisection,
the maltreatment of the animals.
